I’m an award-winning writer with more than 20 years’ experience writing for businesses and organizations of all sizes. I can provide quality writing of nearly any kind — from one-line campaign themes to thick sales training manuals. My copy holds the reader’s interest and gets results. On time. And on budget.

I have written for magazines and websites. I’ve written video and A-V scripts, TV spots, case histories, newsletters, brochures, ad copy, and press releases. I helped write and edit Lightspeed Business (John Wiley and Sons, 2001) and Getting It Right the First Time (Greenwood Press, 2005).

My efforts have increased revenues and/or readership for dozens of satisfied clients.

My fees are reasonable, too. And for good reason. My overhead is low. When you hire you won’t pay for unnecessary layers of management, a prestigious address, a ride on the company yacht or for someone’s new BMW. You pay only for words as good as or better than you’ll get from ad agencies and PR firms that charge much higher fees.

My accomplishments in business and the arts have been widely recognized with several awards and grants. These include the Ohio State Award for excellence in Educational, Informational and Public Affairs Broadcasting (a national honor, despite its name), six Addys, a gold award and a merit award in the 1993 and 1994 annual competitions sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the Kirsch Leadership Award, and the Upjohn Healthcare Services Baton. I also have received an American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters grant, a P.E.N. grant, and several Michigan Council for the Arts writing, editing and video awards.

In more than 20 years in the business, I’ve done work for Infocus, The Upjohn Company, United Way, Herman Miller Inc., The Kirsch Company, Mount Carmel Health, Voluntary Hospitals of America, VA Linux Systems, Third Voice, Web2Web Marketing, Personal MD, IdeaFisher, Live 365, HealthCentral.com, Internet Research Group, LetsTalk.com, Spark Public Relations, Copithorne & Bellows Public Relations, and many other leading institutions and companies, as well as some of the outstanding advertising agencies and public relations firms in the country.

One thing all of my clients have in common is that they expect results, not just words. And I give them the results they expect. Targeted messages. Great copy. More customers.
